Downloads for offline viewing stuck at 0% for DramaFever

Hey guys, I have this problem where I'm trying to download a Kdrama off DramaFever but the download progress thing on the bottom left of each offline video isn't moving at all. I also tried just downloading one ep at a time but it is still stuck at 0%. I uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off wifi, turned on airplane mod and turned it off as well. I had this problem about a month ago, it was annoying but magically fixed itself. Is it just a glitch with the app or something on my end?

I'm using iPhone X and of course I have DramaFever premium

Edit: Turning off the screen (not the phone itself) and basically just estimating the time it takes to download x amount of episodes (not touching the app at all) helped me download about 10 episodes of different dramas; I wouldn't consider this a fix though, just putting it out there just in case.
