The selection of May 2019 free PS Plus games is still available, and the two games you can claim this month are two beautifully different oddities. Both Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch are now a free part of your PlayStation Plus subscription - if you haven't heard of them, Overcooked is a local co-op focused game (though you can go solo if you prefer) that creates madcap situations around a cartoon kitchen, and What Remains of Edith Finch is a fantastical first-person exploration game.
The May 2019 free PS Plus games went live back on May 7 and they'll cycle out when next month's lineup arrives on June 4. Make sure you grab Overcooked and Edith Finch before then!

Overcooked (PS4)
The brutal world of Conan the Barbarian is a natural fit for a survival game. In Conan Exiles you play as an outcast who is saved from the brink of death by the raven-haired Cimmerian himself. The rest is up to you. You could band together with other exiles to construct your own settlement, live the dangerous life of a solitary raider, or just wander around and do the whole hunter-gatherer thing. Lawless online multiplayer is the main event but you're free to play in single player or co-op if you prefer.
What Remains of Edith Finch (PS4)
Think magical realism Gone Home and you're most of the way to What Remains of Edith Finch. Playing as the last member of a family with a death curse (it's not as gloomy as it sounds), you explore the old Finch estate and its many strange corners, finding odds and ends from the dearly departed that transport you into fantasy vignettes that recount their final days. I swear, What Remains of Edith Finch isn't a total downer, despite that description… though it is sad, sweet, and very much worth playing.
